The compounds brought from Italy have been really performing even with the hot summer temperature and they have allowed Chris Vermeulen (Honda) to win without any impediments this sixth round. Pirelli has conquered also the other two steps of the podium, thanks to the fantastic performances of Van Den Goobergh (Yamaha) and Muggeridge (Honda). The Italian tyres have taken the fourth and the fifth places as well, with Van Den Bosch and Corradi, leaving available for the competence only the sixth position (Cogan). In the Overall Standing Vermeulen and Pirelli go farther and farther, just followed by another Pirelli rider, Van Den Goorbergh
